PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has sent a message to the President of the Senate, Say Chhum, on the occasion of the Khmer New Year. In his message, the Prime Minister said that the Senate, under President Say Chhum's leadership, has made many great achievements, and on the occasion of the Khmer New Year, the Prime Minister sends him his wishes and hopes that he will continue achieving many great things.
In the congratulatory message, dated 6 April 2022, Prime Minister Hun Sen stated: "On behalf of the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, civil servants throughout the country and on behalf of myself and my wife, I would like to extend congratulations to Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdey, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Her Excellency, to lead the Senate, which is the legislative body of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to achieve many great accomplishments which continue contributing to the development of the motherland and strengthen the rule of law in Cambodia to grow even stronger."
The Prime Minister said he prays for all the merits of sacred objects in the world, especially the New Year Angel, to bless the President of the Senate and his wife, as well as his family, with the precious blessings of the Buddha, in age, class, happiness, and strength.
